1. If Keystone (I think that was the name of the builder) decided to settle, there's really no reason that Looney would have to be there. Any signatures could be handled via fax or FedEx. I guarantee you her lawyer wouldn't want her there if AT ALL POSSIBLE, and neither would Keystone's lawyers.
2. When was she supposedly in NC? She's been posting pretty much nonstop on here. Was she posting from a laptop in an airport, or in a car?
3. Why in the world would they settle? There's no way in hell this thing could EVER have gone to trial (can you imagine LM on the witness stand?) and no way her lawyer would commit the billable hour necessary with such a certain bad outcome. Not that companies don't do dumb stuff, but gee, settling would be a really dumb move in this case.
